The Senior Supply Chain Analyst will report to the Supply Chain Director and directly support U.S. Navy subsurface programs. This position requires practical knowledge of how to propose, execute, and sustain production and spares product lines. As a member of a product team in a matrixed environment, you will frequently need to communicate within and outside of your functional area, internal/external suppliers, and internal/external customers. Accordingly, it requires your ability to influence others outside of your immediate work area to explain gain alignment on plans, policies, practices, and procedures.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate basic/applied knowledge of the material requirements planning (MRP) process, project management, and financial management. Key activities typically include: proposals, financial management (i.e., Earned Value, budgets, targets, working capital, material forecasts, etc.); participation of the supplier management process (i.e., Supplier Risk/Opportunity Management Plans, supplier performance, metrics, international issues, develop/evaluate the make/buy strategy, the Collaborative Agreement process, etc.), and communication of customer flow-through requirements such as FAR/DFARS, ITAR, offset, public law, quality, warranty, etc.
