Description:Candidate will be expected to perform all facets of Software Configuration Management (SCM), with an emphasis on configuration builds and control. Position requires an organized self-starter with SCM and software engineering background. Candidate shall identify the appropriate software configuration standards and policies for program use and ensure proper adherence. The candidate will be responsible for writing and implementing procedures for software control processes and tools. The candidate will be required to provide training on new software CM tool and procedures implemented. Candidate will manage builds on multiple software baselines in a UNIX and/or Linux environment - management of third-party products including COTS integrated with the product. Candidate will utilize shell scripts to support builds and troubleshoot compile errors. Candidate will create and review change requests submitted for approval to ensure completeness and compliance to CM standards. Candidate will support change control boards ensuring change management processes are enforced throughout the program life cycle. Candidate will support program proposal activities including preparation of cost estimates for configuration management requirements and support. Candidate will support monthly cost accounts analysis and reporting for SCM budgets and labor charge. Candidate will provide Navy fleet support for software deliveries.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
• Software Configuration Management (SCM) experience, including software build structure (element level, product level, compiling and building), status accounting, Functional Configuration Audits (FCAs)/Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs), models/deliveries, software installations/deliveries.
• Technical experience in software development lifecycle and processes
• Proficient in the set up and use of software CM tools (i.e., Git, Jira, Confluence)
• Understand handling and accountability of classified materials.
• Ability to handle multiple deadlines and prioritize workload
• Qualified candidates must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance. This requires U.S. Citizenship.

• Candidate has experience with defining and implementing Software Configuration management policies, procedures, processes, and tools. • Candidate must be familiar with UNIX, Linux, and Windows operating systems. Candidate is trained in Control Account Management (CAM) administration or has a current Earned Valued Measure certification.
• Candidate is proficient in the use of Windchill database or other related release management tools.
• Understand handling and accountability of classified materials.
• Ability to support multiple programs
• Self-starter, team player with strong communication skills and attention to details.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
