The Software CM Analyst develops and maintains software configuration management tools and processes to support configuration identification, control, reporting, build, installation, and delivery of both internally developed and externally purchased commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software products.

Responsibilities include:
- Performs configuration management build, delivery and release tasks to ensure software/firmware product operating parameters are documented and meet software compliance standards
- Creates, assigns and verifies configuration item part numbers, titles, VOB names, and media numbers in accordance with established requirements
- Maintains the Software Configuration Management System including collection or distribution of code documentation, problem report and change request processing, software build documents, and delivery of software products to operational environments
- Implements long term organizational objectives for software process improvement (e.g., SEI CMM), compliance with ISO 9000 standards
- Trains software developers in the use of configuration management tools
- Additionally, this position will include build coordination, software media production, maintenance of applicable databases, and oversight of Export Control requirements - Interfaces with Quality Assurance, Test site leads, System Engineering, Software Engineering, and internal / external customers

This is an onsite position.
Basic Qualifications:
- Software/Firmware Configuration Management experience
- Understand the basic concepts of Quality Assurance
- Working knowledge of Unix/Linux and Windows with specific concentration on command line interface
- Experience working within an AGILE software development environment
- Skills associated with build automation and scripting
- Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the SECRET level. Requires U.S. Citizenship
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
- IBM ClearCase/ClearQuest/Unified Change Management (UCM) experience
- Working knowledge of scripting languages like shell script and Perl
- Experience working within an AGILE environment using JIRA, GIT, Jenkins, Maven, DevSecOps, Software Factory, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD)
- Familiarity with Jenkins build script implementation
- Ability to produce software builds and carry out fault analysis relating to build failures
- Ability to ensure build and release processes and procedures are followed and maintained
- Ability to generate software release documentation in accordance with established standards
- Ability to maintain organized configuration management records for all builds
- Ability to drive strategic changes in alignment with Digital Transformation (Dx)
- Ability to work with cross functional teams
- Communicate clearly and maintain good working relationship with peers and customers at all technical levels
- Ability to perform various related configuration management tasks for software production workflow status

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
