Job SummaryThe HR Reporting & Analytics Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the Manager, HR Reporting and Analytics. The incumbent will be responsible for delivering accurate, efficient, and insightful HR reports. This will include gathering data from various HR Systems, ensuring data integrity, generating standard and ad-hoc reports, creating data visualizations and conducting initial analysis to identify trends, patterns, and areas of concern within the Workforce. This role demands a proactive, detail-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, all the while adhering to a strict reporting schedule.

In this role you will:

  • Maintain the HR Reporting and Analysis reporting calendar, ensuring accurate and timely delivery within our Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Management of the HR Pipeline for all Reporting requests.  Prioritizing the reporting requests that emerge via Pipeline. Including the preparation of change request documentation associated with new (or changes to existing) reports. 
  • Support in the preparation of presentation materials for stakeholders, including Senior Leadership.
  • Provide reporting support for HR initiatives and projects.
  • Responsible for acquiring various HR reporting data/supporting material for departmental presentations for EMC, Senior Leaders and Board of Directors reports.
  • Responsible for ensuring all HR Systems NSights initiatives are represented in the Data Catalogue.
  • Identify and troubleshoot data discrepancies and inconsistencies within reporting deliverables.
  • Organize and manage data files and documentation for efficient retrieval and analysis.
  • Responding/prepare periodic ad-hoc requests, ensuring timely and accurate delivery and communication. 
  • SharePoint Management: Update and maintain the departmental SharePoint page with current monthly and quarterly reports.  Ensure the SharePoint site is organized and secure.
  • Partner with various business units to ensure data accuracy, accessibility, and quality.

What you bring:

  • 2-3 years of experience in Human Resources
  • Undergraduate degree in Human Resources Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, Adobe, PowerPoint, and other reporting and presentation software.
  • Strong understanding and practical experience with HR Information Systems (HRIS) like Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, etc.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Working Conditions:

  • This position is based at the Ottawa Head Office and is classified as a Hybrid position requiring incumbent to be on site a minimum 3 days per week.
