DescriptionOur Network Operations team works around the clock running United’s global operation, safely, reliably and efficiently. From dispatching and routing our fleet to coordinating with maintenance line planning and crew scheduling, this team makes caring connections with our internal customers and ultimately, United’s customers. From pushback to landing, the Network Operations team is the eyes and ears on the ground no matter where in the world your United flight takes you.
Job overview and responsibilities
- Designs and develops the required data collection and analysis strategies
- Maintain, integrate and implement Safety Management System Hazard identifications and reporting through data collection and analysis strategies
- This position will be responsible for identifying risk within the division and reporting areas that require leadership focus
- Analytical skills with ability to collect, clean, organize, analyze, and deciminate significant amount of information.
- Develop and maintain a safety dashboard utilizing input from LOSA, DSAP, audits, and FAA
- Develop quarterly report for Performance Based Contingency Fuel and present to leaders/FAA
- Conduct analysis on repeat findings and establish a risk-based report for leaders to understand weak points with in the operational areas observed
- Collaborate with other organizations (Safety, Airport Operations, Flight Operations, Cargo Operations, Tech Ops, IT) to ensure conformance with systems and programs shared with Network Operations
- Monitors corrective action commitments and implementation
- Conduct special emphasis analysis of Network Operations systems and programs based on previous audits, FAA enforcement action, ASAP reporting
- Design and develop reporting dashboards

QualificationsWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):- Bachelors degree in technology, mathematics, statistics
- 2+ years of experience with data analysis tools such as PowerBI
- Experience with quantitative reporting and analysis
- Forecasting, modeling and quantitative analysis
- Previous experience in mathematics or statistical analysis
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and presentation skills required
- Strong problem-solving skills, which include ability to research issues to make informed decisions
- High attention to detail
- Able to work independently and be self-motivated while still taking direction and remaining flexible to changing priorities
- Excellent time management, decision-making and organizational skills
- Technical skills using software such as Microsoft Office and Advanced Excel, SQL, Power Apps, Python, Pyspark etc.
- Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship
- Must be fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
