Responsibilities

  • Maximize operational efficiency: Utilize Sabre Staff Plan to accurately forecast station manpower requirements. Standardize approach to effective staffing at all domestic airports.
  • Control airport operating costs: Provide accurate station resource requirements backed by analytics and software driven solutions. Play key role in planning for over $50M in annual station costs.
  • Deliver Timely Analysis to Reduce Interrupted Trip Expenses: Provide daily analysis by scrutinizing station Interrupted Trip Expense reports, and to ensure policy compliance by collecting and analyzing data.
  • Provide For Operational Performance Transparency: Deliver detailed performance analysis on a station and system level to increase awareness of operational performance against established goals.
  • Guarantee Exceptional Accounting Precision: Ensure accurate accounting by monitoring all Station Interrupted Trip transactions to correctly report and allocate to the appropriate general ledger and to dispute fraud.
  • May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change when circumstances dictate (e.g., emergencies change in workload, rush jobs or technical developments). 

Qualifications

The Staffing Analyst position will play a key role in gathering resource requirements, data from multiple sources, and driving the implementation of Sabre Staff Plan solutions across all domestic airport operations with the goal to deliver successful forecasting, scheduling, and intraday management support. This role will interface with all levels of the operations management team in both corporate and local airport offices. The Staffing Analyst is also expected to conduct the related research, and will assist by advising and recommending solutions to improve overall quality, increase efficiency, and reduce operating costs. In addition to calculating airport resource requirements the Staffing Analyst will also control the accounting and forecasting for all interrupted trip expenses related to IROPs and flight cancelations, determine best practices and work with the airports and local vendors to ensure efficient and accurate processing of invoices.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required.
  • 3+ years of airline industry experience required.
  • 2+ years of analytics and data manipulation experience required.
  • Ability to travel with a U.S Passport.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
  • Excel /Data Analysis skills
  • Able to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels of the organization to include C-Suite Level Executives.
  • Experience executing on an organization-wide level based on data insights.
  • Comfortable in an airport setting with potential for high-stress situations. 
  • Domestic & International travel approximately 50 of time.
  • Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
