The Sr. Analyst, PSS & Distribution is a detail-oriented product owner & SME who specializes in the core technical functions of air carrier reservations and the systems that facilitate them, with a particular emphasis on Navitaire’s New Skies system. You are the PSS cheerleader - no one should love it as much as you. You will support a broad range of customer-focused initiatives, both within the PSS core and associated third-party systems, from a back-office perspective and prioritize each appropriately. You thrive in inter-departmental decision making discussions about the future of the JSX product offering. You are confident in sharing your expertise to ensure that commercial and customer experience priorities are addressed by IT solutions in both the near- and long-term, and make recommendations to executive leadership when required.

Outcomes and Responsibilities

  • Administer configurations in New Skies and related systems to ensure that business needs are met
  • Build and maintain the relationship between JSX and Navitaire as the product team for New Skies
  • Advocate for New Skies product enhancements that benefit JSX
  • Manage UAT cycles and provide customer sign-off for PSS-interfacing product deployments
  • Work with strategic partners, including codeshare carriers, to support technical aspects of distribution of JSX flights and fares
  • Evaluate new and innovative IT solutions to enhance the JSX product and streamline operations
  • Serve as an internal consultant to provide technical guidance and in-depth support for PSS-dependent projects and initiatives across the company
  • Provide technical oversight and quality assurance for end user training materials
  • Promote product enhancements to drive Crewmember buy-in

Job Requirements:
Essential Requirements

  • 2+ years experience with passenger service systems beyond the end-user level, Navitaire PSS preferred
  • 4+ years air carrier operations experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills and empathetic perspective
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Demonstrated technical writing skills
  • Aptitude for customer experience optimization
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule to coordinate with a global network of contractors and vendors

Pay & Perks

Compensation range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 annually. This was established after performing market research and is aligned with our approach to compensation. Most qualified Candidates will receive an offer near the starting point of our compensation range.
