Description:This position is for a Sr. Price Cost Analyst in the Material Acquisition Strategy Group within the Price/Cost Analysis department.

You will be responsible for complex supplier proposals within the Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) division of Lockheed Martin (LM) as well as supporting various MAS initiatives.

Responsibilities include:
-Review supplier proposals, cost and pricing data submitted and all other factors provided by supplier in support of their proposal.
-Confer daily with suppliers and analyze supplier operations to determine factors that affect price.
Prepare reports and charts that present findings.
-Negotiate standard and non-standard contracts with suppliers.
-Maintain communications to ensure timely contract execution by both parties.
-Plan and participate in training of Price / Cost Analysis practices and negotiation techniques to company personnel.
-Act as proposal lead to monitor, advise, and report PCA status for major proposal activities.
Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, or higher

-Ability to perform and apply cost accounting, pricing, and estimating concepts and principles

-Ability to conduct fact-finding exercises as needed to review basis of price/cost trends and development of key cost indicators

-Ability to comprehensively review all elements of cost including direct labor, material, ODC and indirect costs in compliance with FAR, DFARS, GAP and LM procedures

-Ability to review Supplier proposals for Compliance with FAR and LM requirements

-Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) supplements, with a strong working knowledge of FAR Part 15

-Ability to utilize analytical, verbal and written communication skills to accurately document, report, and present findings

-Ability to meet deadlines in a challenging, multi-tasking environment

-Proficient with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, Work, and PowerPoint
Desired Skills:
-Knowledge of data analytics

-Knowledge of Rate Audit process

-Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, supply chain, accounting

-Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate departmental and program messages effectively to both LM personnel, as well as the customer.

-Experience in audit of supplier direct and indirect rates.

-Proven ability to operate in a fast paced environment

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
