THE POSITION

Be part of a team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance within Honeywell Process Solution PAS Line of Business. You will partner with Sales Support (P&E), Sales, Engineering and Project Management leaders to implement Control System Offering and BTI strategies, provide technology solutions to customer by being part of the LOB Sales Support Team and drive Sales Order Win as part of the Annual Operating Plan for various Regions in North America.
Responsible for developing technical solution offering that meets Scope of work requirements in terms of functionality, standards, and implementation process at minimum cost to make a competitive offering. Along with technical offering also responsible for defining commercial offer, project execution strategy, schedule, cost, margin, cashflow and project related risk and opportunity. Take lead in presenting the Opportunity, Proposal and Execution strategy to the Operations and Finance Leadership with support from Sales and other functions.
Use your technical and project execution expertise to influence customers toward Honeywell solutions. You will provide both external and internal consultations and will help Honeywell teams develop and maintain the right solutions, project execution plan, and sales strategy. You will foster cross-functional alignment to customer needs. You will participate in pursuit strategy planning, and customer negotiations. You may consult prospective users on product capability. 


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Customer facing role responsible for Project Management with Support from Engineering and Sales
• Analyze growth opportunities
• Analyze product development needs
• Coach on targeted product value propositions
• Support the Proposal Effort for Specific Opportunities
• Coordinate engineering support for pursuits
• Lead the proposal team of Sales, Estimators, multi-disciplined engineers, Sourcing by providing clarity to the Proposal strategy, project execution strategy and driving ownership at all levels to ensure implementation and delivery of all proposal requirements
• Review Solution Architecture, solution offering for Distributed Control System, Safety System, Advanced Applications for North America and International Customers.
• Review and Fully Understand Request for Quotation (RFQ) And Bid Requirements
• Develop project execution plan, including schedule, cost review, and staffing requirements
• Review performance data (financial, budget, sales, and activity reports) to monitor and measure productivity, goal progress, and     activity levels
• Maintain positive relationships with customers
• Track and control B&P costs within budget.
• Maintain accountability of team members for conformance and accuracy in their scope of work
• Present technical and commercial sales briefings to customers
• Attend and Provide Input To R&O Discussions from Project Management perspective
• Support Review of Proposal Documents
• Support Use of Request to Quote (R2Q) and CPQTool
• Travel: Approximately 10~15 of domestic/ International travel required.

YOU MUST HAVE

• 7 + years of Automation Control System Project execution experience or relevant industrial experience
• Experience must include Process Instrumentation, Engineering of Automation Control and Safety Systems, Hardware and Software design, Application and Database development, System Testing, Field Engineering, Commissioning and Site Services. Knowledge of Field Instrumentation and Advanced Applications.
• Relevant industrial experience of minimum 7 years is required.

• Is required to be experienced in understanding the complexities of DCS System, HMI and Configuration application. 
• Recognize the best fit solution for hardware configuration and architecture based on the customers requirements
• Possess the knowledge of detailed integration requirements of DCS System, Safety Systems and 3rd party system in Oil & Gas, Chemical and Petrochemicals industry.
• Understand the advantages that HON products and solutions have over the competition
• Experience in customer facing role
• Demonstrated ability to develop and foster strong customer relationships
• Experience in technical writing and preparation of proposals
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Familiarity with industry regulatory requirements and future mandates
• Ability to achieve results through influence in a matrixed-team environment
• Experience in project management, engineering, Solution Consulting
• Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do   things before being asked by others or forced to by events.
• Experience in Risk Management, Identification & Mitigation
• Detailed experience with process engineering, planning, cost estimating, scheduling, procurement, and customer & change order management in refining, petrochemical, or gas processing  
• Ability to influence and energize others as well as improve performance, meeting commitments, and getting results
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
