Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 4 years of progressively responsible related training experience. Experience in HR related area preferred..

Position Purpose:

Under minimal supervision, facilitates leadership development, employee development, and orientation programs. Will be involved in course design and existing course enhancements. Supports training at all Gulfstream facilities as required. Monitors and reports on the effectiveness of training.

Job Description

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

  1. Responsible for facilitating all leadership development, employee development, and orientation programs at Gulfstream (GAC). Facilitates both in-person and virtually.
  2. Responsible for managing all aspects of assigned leadership development program(s), inclusive of all non-classroom items such as the following: pre-work, post-work, coaching employees during and outside of the classroom on assignments and tracking completion of course objectives and assignments.
  3. Responsible for assisting with design, development, and delivery of assigned training curriculum and/or programs.
  4. Responsible for sustaining learning of all participants by providing regular and consistent updates on content, materials and other relevant information once theyve completed the program(s).
  5. Understands and monitors metrics that will identify key business effectiveness, potential issues, results and ROI of all leadership development and orientation programs. Provides reports to leadership on relevant trends as requested.
  6. Interfaces with other departments to ensure that training department is knowledgeable and up-to-date on the evolving needs and changes within the business. Incorporates any updates into new or existing training programs.
  7. Responsible for cross-training to teach all leadership programs/courses and orientation. Facilitates cross-training to other Talent Programs specialists as needed.
  8. Acts as an internal consultant on training issues within all leadership development programs.

Additional Functions:

  1. May mentor, lead, or direct the work of other instructors within the department. .
  2. Assists other instructors as needed. .
  3. Ensures equipment is functioning properly and training facilities are maintained in an orderly and professional manner. .
  4. Documents training of all students in the Learning Management System (LMS). .

Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:

  1. Must demonstrate excellent facilitation skills (training and instructing groups) and ability to effectively deliver course material.
  2. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within field. Must exhibit good organizational skills, strong verbal and written communication skills and team building skills.
  3. Basic understanding of Project Management terminology and skills.
  4. Basic understanding of global business acumen.
  5. Basic understanding of metrics and data analysis.
  6. Knowledge of standard office equipment and business applications.
  7. Skilled user of PowerPoint, MSWord, Excel, Microsoft Outlook and development software.
  8. Travel required.
  9. Ability to conduct training for all shifts and facilities, both in-person and virtually.
  10. Must have high initiative and be able to work to deadlines, manage multiple projects and maintain confidentiality.
