StandardAero is seeking motivated, eager, and innovative students looking to join our Continual Improvement Team for the 2024 summer term.

Position Overview
We are looking for a BI superstar to join our team!
You will design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards to visualise key business metrics.
Support the Data Analyst team with compilation of key business data / reports.
Provide source data for use throughout UK businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the data analytics team to understand reporting requirements.
- Convert current SQL queries into Power BI reports
- Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards to visualise key business metrics.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability in all reports.
- Assist in identifying trends, patterns, and insights from the data.
- Work on ad-hoc reporting requests from various departments.
- Provide support in maintaining and optimising existing Power BI reports.
- Support transition of the business to Power BI
- Point of contact for business data to ensure consistency and accuracy of reporting
- Support production of daily / weekly Utilisation and Productivity stats.
- Support compilation of business reports
- Support & participate in delivery of CI projects
Competencies:
Core:
Essential
- Basic understanding of SQL and database management.
- Familiarity with Power BI
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to interface across the organisation at all levels.
Desirable
- Experience of supporting CI activities within multi-sight business
- Previous experience of working within and aviation / defence environment
Professional Qualifications/Education and Training:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of SQL and database management.
- Familiarity with Power BI
