As an intern at StandardAero, you will gain hands-on industry experience, learn from experts, and collaborate with our teams that raise the standard of excellence.
Over the course of your 10-12 week internship, you will have the opportunity to:
Become familiar with different HR roles and responsibilities, understand the business and the ability to influence from a Human Resources standpoint, attend weekly department meetings, drive organizational process improvements and initiatives, assist with recruitment, research best practices, assist with improving employee experience.
What youll do:
The successful student may be involved in the following:
Provide recruitment support to the HR Business Partners:
- develop job postings;
- conduct preliminary screenings;
- manage the Applicant Tracking System;
- schedule interviews;
- develop offer letters;
- facilitate background screening;
- facilitate onboarding process.
Provide input, recommendations and implementation of changes to current HR procedures and practices.
Assist in the development, review and update of organizational policies and processes.
Support site initiatives aimed at improving the employee experience.
Support HR Generalist tasks, as needed
Basic Qualifications:
- Third or fourth-year student enrolled in Human Resources undergraduate degree or diploma;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills;
- Excellent organizational and planning skills with strong attention to detail;
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and e-mail;
- Must maintain the strictest confidence in dealing with highly sensitive employee and applicant information;

Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work well with diverse personalities and work force.
Strong self-starter and time management skills.
Adaptable to a quick changing environment.
