Job Description:

Airbus commercial aircraft is looking for a Support Operations-Data Analyst to join their team based in Mobile, AL.

Develop, test and implement the most suitable analytical models to identify meaningful patterns or trends from complex data sets and types. Implement the analytics pipeline against the business needs. Analyze and improve regularly the accuracy of models against business needs. Communicate findings through effective and easy-to-understand data visualizations adapted to the audience.

• Our Engineers at the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing facility take our aircraft from concept to customer delivery – working with production teams on every aspect of assembly from managing technical information, quality control, maintenance tasks and health & safety – along flowlines and flightlines. • Nearby on ‘Airbus Way’ you will find the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility for commercial aircraft. Opened at the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley in 2015, the facility produces A320 Family aircraft and added a second product line for the A220 in 2019. • Perform business data and adverse impact analysis, identifying key facts and recommendations in accordance with Airbus business standards.

• Develop data collection methods using available tools (i.e. Google Forms, Smartsheet).

• Analyze and evaluate HR data and metrics pertaining to headcount, retention, turnover, diversity, and others.

• Prepare high-quality interactive reports in Google DataStudio or similar platform on required metrics and topics.

• Develop and support workflow management in Google Apps Script and Google Workspace.

• Develop various business workflows based on the implemented platform.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or a combination of education and experience.

• 2 years of experience in a professional setting with aeronautical engineering or business industries.

• 2 years of experience with Data Analytics, Data Visualization and related technology (Tableau, Power BI, Data Studio, etc).

• Experience with object-oriented programming (using JavaScript, Google Apps Script) is a plus.

• Understanding of object-oriented programming in JavaScript and Python.

• Strong interpersonal spoken and written communication skills.

• Significant personal initiative and tenacity both when working alone or as a member of a team.

• Fluent written and spoken English.

• French, German, or Spanish skills are a plus.
