Description:Perform as part of a team responsible for IT Services to a group of elite forces. These services include system hardware and operating systems operations, software and systems installation, and documenting all aspects of IT services. Adhere to established policies, procedures and guidelines set out by the government. Be able to support the infrastructure and systems used by Special Operations Forces to produce audio and video, print and broadcast assets. Be willing to support provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software and related infrastructure within a DoD approved enclave. The employee will participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure.

More specific job duties may include but arent limited to the following:

• Install new/rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements
• Monitor, backup and archive log files from enterprise level platforms

• Able to develop and document step-by-step procedures that is easily understood by other System and Network Administrators
• Have a working knowledge of the Microsoft Windows Operating Systems
• Understand the functions of servers
• Have a basic understanding of the commands used to analyze and troubleshoot computer issues.
• Able to create, maintain and support Windows Computing Environment
• A basic understanding on how to read a vulnerability scan reports and apply the recommended corrective actions
• Able to maintain and correct established security policies
• Perform research on system technology and provide resolution to complex issues for processes
• Monitor all system alerts and assist in resolving complex issues with system hardware and software
• Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures
• Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups
• Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created, and media is recycled and sent off site as necessary
• Repair and recover from hardware or software failures. Coordinate and communicate with impacted users
• Review and apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as necessary.
Basic Qualifications:
A working knowledge of workstations and servers within a DOD Network Environment. This includes a basic understanding of DISA STIGS, HBSS and ACAS reports.

Must have the organizational awareness and interpersonal skills suitable to be embedded into a military organization.

Have the Ability to take general directions and follow through to task completion including solution devolvement, planning, execution and status reporting.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
