Why This is an Exciting Role:

As a Systems Administrator at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics you will be responsible for Oversees system integration, hardware and software installation, configuration and disposition of servers and workstations to support the architecture. Provides complex problem resolution, root cause analysis and technical support for delivery systems. Participates in the design, validation and configuration management of computing delivery systems. Plans and coordinates system changes. Administers user system access and establishes safeguards to protect information to meet security requirements. Oversees activities to monitor system performance to support capacity planning, backup and disaster recovery planning. Mentors,
leads and trains others.

  • Provide in-depth experience in trouble-shooting IT systems
  • Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets
  • Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process
  • Configure and manage UNIX and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance

Experience and Qualifications:

To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:  

Required Education and Years of Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university, and ten (10) years of years of experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity, or
  • No degree (High School/GED) and fifteen (15) years of relevant experience

Required Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
  • DOD 8570 compliance with IAT Level 2 is required

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with Linux
  • SA experience in a cloud environment
  • Scripting
  • Experience with SALTStack
  • AWS and/or AZURE experience
  • Building out Bricata servers
  • Experience with closing out IAVAs

Summary Pay Range:

Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

$130,150 - $143,850
