Digital Operations at Icelandair is responsible for supporting company operations through flexibility, optimization and utilization of opportunities for improvement.
We are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to join Icelandairs Infrastructure Team in Digital Operations. As a team member, you will help us guarantee the availability and reliability of our infrastructure and systems, and minimize the effects of disruptions through forward thinking development of processes, ways of working and response plans.
Responsibilities:
- Management of server environment in a global environment where there is an increase in the use of cloud services
- Implementation of new solutions
- Analyzing and fixing incidents
- Automation of server operations using Configuration Management tools
- Participation in infrastructure development, operation of the companys virtual environment and various related projects
Qualifications:
- A relevant degree and/or certification(s) in IT is advantageous
- Proven work experience in IT
- Experience in operating and monitoring Windows servers
- Experience in monitoring tools like Datadog and CheckMK is beneficial
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems is beneficial
- Professional mindset, pro-activity and independence
