Building, deploying, upgrading, and maintaining desktops and servers in a Windows environment. Support is required across several different networks for a large customer base.

Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators. Duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocate mass storage space. Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products. Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery. Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.

• Experience with Tier 2+ Desktop and Server troubleshooting and configuration.
• Monitoring and tracking trouble tickets and change
requests
• Windows Server 2012/2016 configuration,
administration, and troubleshooting
• VMware configuration, administration, and
troubleshooting
• Domain and LAN administration
• Active Directory administration, GPO configuration
Desired Skills:
• Experience with Cisco networking equipment
• SharePoint server farm administration
• Understanding of PowerShell scripting
• Configuring and maintaining WSUS and/or SCCM server
• Willingness to grow into Systems Administration role
• Experience with TCP/IP networking
• Experience with VMware and ESXi virtualization
• Experience configuring non-computing devices (NCDs) such as KVM switches, networked UPSs, and networked pAdvance knowledge of Windows Operating Systems support.
• Advance knowledge of Active Directory.
• Advance knowledge of Group Policy (GPO).
• Server application administrator experience supporting MS Exchange server, MS Skype for Business, MS SharePoint, SCCM (software deployment), WSUS.
• Advance PC hardware repair experience.
• Advance knowledge of virtualization technologies - VMWare.
• Ability to support tier 2 and 3 helpdesk tickets.
• Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to work after hours and weekends as needed. owner distribution units
• Currently valid Security+ CE, CASP, CISSP or similar IAT III level certification.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
