Job Description:

The Systems Administrator I will be a full-time onsite role that will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the growing user base and infrastructure across 3 small sites in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate will have experience with Active Directory, network troubleshooting, and server administration as well as a high level of customer service soft skills.


Essential Functions:

  • Manage and maintain our Active Directory/Office365/Azure environment including user accounts, group policies, and security groups.
  • Device Inventory and Asset Management
  • Device Imaging and Deployment to new hires
  • Perform routine maintenance and updates to servers, desktops, and network equipment.
  • Troubleshoot network issues and outages to ensure timely resolution.
  • Monitor system logs and alerts to identify and address potential security threats.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to ensure system performance and availability meet or exceed established service levels.
  • Participate in the deployment and maintenance of new hardware and software systems.
  • Document system configuration and procedures, and ensure that documentation is kept up to date.
  • Provide support and guidance to end-users in the use of IT systems and applications.
  • Adhere to established IT policies and procedures, including security and compliance guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and related technologies.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Familiarity with network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
  • Understanding of security and compliance standards such as NIST and CMMC.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Education / Certifications:

  • A bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred or equivalent experience.

Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience in system administration, with a focus on Active Directory and network infrastructure.

Physical Requirements:

  • Occasionally required to stand for extended periods of time
  • Frequently required to sit, and to reach to use computers and other office equipment

Security Clearance:

  • Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret DoD clearance, U.S. Citizenship required.
