Responsibilities:
Lead SAP TM implementation efforts, from requirements gathering through Go-Live, including system configuration, process design, and testing.
Conduct fit-gap analyses to determine customization needs and develop appropriate technical and functional specifications.
Deliver SAP TM solutions across key areas including Advanced Shipping & Receiving (ASR), EWM integration, Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), GTS, EHS, and third-party system interfaces.
Design and optimize transportation planning, load tendering, freight execution, and cost settlement processes.
Create and maintain business requirement documents, test scripts, batch job specifications, and training content.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business users, technical teams, and application specialists) to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Configure and enhance TM Business Objects and freight order FPM screens.
Support all project phases including cut-over, Go-Live, and hyper-care activities.
Serve as a key liaison for issue resolution between business stakeholders and IT support teams.
Train team members and end users on new processes and system functionality.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
8–12 years of hands-on experience with SAP Transportation Management (TM), including configuration and full lifecycle implementations.
Expertise in transportation planning, optimization, rate maintenance, freight cost management, and transportation reporting.
Proven ability to implement custom SAP TM solutions and integrate TM with SAP SD, MM, EWM, GTS, and EHS modules.
Strong experience with Order Management, Transportation Execution, Freight Settlement, and Event Tracking.
In-depth understanding of SAP TM Master Data, Organizational Elements, and structural components.
Hands-on experience with shipper scenarios across Road, Air, Rail, and Ocean transportation modes.
Basic proficiency in ABAP and BOPF.
- Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Logistics, or a related field.
Completion of at least two full SAP TM implementation projects.
