Position Summary:

The role will play a pivotal role in standardizing and optimizing planning, scheduling, engineering, and manufacturing business processes across the organization and drive results by achieving business defined goals in SyteLine Cloud (CSI).

This role will drive strategic projects and process improvements across the various business units. The scope of the job also includes collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement solutions across a variety of existing SyteLine ERP instances and defining and enforcing the governance of the planning, scheduling, engineering, and manufacturing business process within ERP implementation and enhancement projects.

This position works closely with the business to understand business needs and priorities. The role will support major business initiatives, perform business transformation consulting, provide project management, and other ERP related activities.

They must be able to demonstrate competence in relevant functional knowledge in the areas of advanced planning and scheduling, engineering, bill of material buildouts, demand planning, supply chain and system implementation methodology. Experience in discrete manufacturing with the CloudSuite Industrial (SyteLine) product is required.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide direction to and motivates the team personnel. Maintain a high level of morale. Develop a customer care philosophy that ensures customer satisfaction.
  • Act as a liaison with the business stakeholders and IT to gather business requirements, specify processes and recommend solutions.
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and potential impact on the support business.
  • Responsible for understanding needs and processes of business sites.
  • Define the tasks required to implement enhancements to the solution and specify design solutions to meet the clients&39; needs.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to automate business and reporting processes.
  • Verify business readiness before implementation of modules and/or extensions to the product. Ensure appropriate documentation, testing and signoff is in place.
  • Develop collaborative relationship with Development team and provide guidance on design alternatives.
  • Provide frequent consultation to project stakeholders on alternatives.
  • Conduct the necessary project team meetings to monitor the ongoing work and communication with other areas of the project.
  • Ensure follow up with business users reporting problems with the issue resolution(s) on a timely basis.
  • Follow the prescribed IT Policies and adhere to SOX compliance throughout all project activities.
  • Contribute to the Corporate Business Systems strategic plan, assist with preparation of the budget and prepare staffing plans.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor&39;s degree in Manufacturing or Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment with an emphasis on planning and scheduling.
  • Minimum of 8 years in a similar capacity implementing Syteline ERP with a focus in Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS).
  • Strong proficiency in identifying and evaluating complex business processes and providing system solutions.
  • Experience in managing multiple, concurrent projects and working with various levels of management.
  • Proficiency in team-building and collaboration, verbal and written communication, and creative problem-solving.

Required Skills:

  • Highly motivated and independent learner
  • Infor CloudSuite Industrial (CSI) / SyteLine versions 10, 9, or 8 experience required
  • ERP Implementation Experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to make decisions independently
  • Ability to make recommendations on ERP usage and configuration based on best practices and experience.
  • Strong customer service attitude
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines
  • SAP to SyteLine ERP conversion will be a plus
