Technical & Quotation Specialist – Fluid Connectors & Process Instrumentation
Parker Hannifin Sales CEE s.r.o. represents Parker in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, and selected Balkan countries, with the CEE team based in Prague, Warsaw, and Istanbul. Role overview
We are seeking a colleague for our Inquiry To Order Team, focused on Connectors & Instrumentation. You will assess customer inquiries from a technical perspective and prepare pricing quotations. In this domain, you will work with fluid connectors (fittings, adapters, quick couplings, hoses) and instrumentation components (tube fittings, valves, manifolds) used for safe media transfer and precise process control. Experience with hydraulic/pneumatic fittings or instrumentation products is a plus. You will collaborate closely with our manufacturing divisions and sales to propose optimal solutions and maintain pricing data.
Key responsibilities
- Process customer inquiries and define/optimize technical solutions independently or in cooperation with Parker manufacturing divisions and the sales team.
- Prepare pricing quotations in Siebel /Sales Force across the product portfolio; participate in price updates and maintenance of pricing databases and annual price renewals.
- Communicate with customers to clarify technical specifications and solution options.
- Provide post‑sales technical support, including spare parts identification.
- Collaborate within broad international/EMEA teams and communicate directly with Parker EMEA plants.
Qualifications
- University or secondary technical education.
- Advanced compter skills (MS Excel); Power BI at user level is a plus.
- Openness to learn pricing processes and tools.
- Proficient Czech and English (spoken and written).
- Customer-oriented mindset, attention to detail, good analytical skills, effective communication and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate in a team and work independently, proactive and willing to take new challenges.
