Strategic Technology Institute, Inc. (STi) is seeking qualified applicants for a Technical Screener & in support of Naval Sea Systems Command’s (NAVSEA) Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) requirements at their research facility in Bethesda, MD.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
- Inspect items, using x-ray viewing equipment, to determine whether items contain objects that warrant further investigation
- View images of bags and cargo, using remote screening equipment, and alert baggage screeners or handlers to any possible problems
- Communicate situation details to appropriate personnel
- Prepare and coordinate all tasks related to advanced procurement planning
- Ensure accomplishment of competition management goals, by serving as the principal technical advisor to commanders and civilian officials
- Provide executive leadership by supervising program managers and delegating responsibilities throughout the acquisition life cycle of a major program
- Oversee all program activities and formulate policies and procedures accordingly
- Develop program management techniques and ensure establishment of internal controls to support functions
- Organize acquisition management activities by determining priorities, training needs, and establishing performance standards
- Serve as a coordinator among leaders, staff, and units to ensure successful development and execution of acquisition program plans
- Serve as project manager by coordinating costs, schedules, logistics, and systems integration activities
- Oversee all contracting functions to provide supplies and services critical to daily operations and mission
- Ensure effective acquisition planning by analyzing purchase requests, evaluating offers, and performing cost or price analysis
- Award and administer contracts and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
