Job Summary

The Total Rewards Analyst is responsible for ensuring competitive and fairness of our organizations compensation and benefits packages. Responsible for maintaining compensation structures and evaluating benefits programs to attract, retain, and motivate current employees and top talent. Additionally, assisting with the administration of all benefits and retirement programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, and 401(k) plans, and the administration of all leave of absence programs and understanding various federal/state laws as it relates to a leave of absence.

Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions

  • Evaluate job roles, responsibilities, and market data to ensure competitive in marketplace.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the total rewards strategy by conducting analyses of compensation, benefits, and variable programs.
  • Communicate effectively with employees to educate them on benefits, rewards, and compensation packages. Administer various employee benefit programs, such as group health, flexible spending accounts, health spending accounts, dental, vision, accident and disability, life insurance, 401(k), and wellness benefits.
  • Assess benefit program effectiveness, analyze costs, and recommend improvements to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Administration and maintenance of employee benefits in HRIS system.
  • Process Qualified Medical Support orders
  • Primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to benefit programs.
  • Conduct benefit orientations for new hires
  • Develop and schedule corporate monthly meetings designed to assist employees obtain information and understand company benefits and other related incentive programs. Ensure distribution of required employee notices.
  • Manage and administer all leave-of-absence requests and disability claims.
  • Responds to 401(k) inquiries from managers and employees relating to enrollments, plan changes and contribution amounts.
  • Administer COBRA and partner with TPA for related notices.
  • Ability to travel 10 – 15
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in human resources, Business Administration, Human Services or related field.
  • Five (5) + years of experience in Benefits/Total Rewards
  • Two (2) + years experience managing/administering leave of absence programs.
  • Two (2) + years experience in compensation planning/administration
  • Ability to demonstrate sound judgement and effective communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to effectively manage stress, including competing work demands and multiple projects at the same time.
  • Knowledge of DOL, FLSA and PPACA requirements
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet critical deadlines.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain a professional demeanor.
  • Knowledge of HRIS technologies, preferably UKG
  • Human Resource Certifications(s) (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) and/or CEBS professional designations preferred.
