The Training Specialist will provide expertise in analyzing technical learning needs for a department/business and will be responsible for designing and delivering training solutions.

Job Description

    Essential Functions & Responsibilities

    • Provides expertise in analyzing learning needs, designing training solutions and delivering training; develops training methodology, procedures and materials.
    • Monitors & administers operator and Leadership training, on the shop floor or classroom, motivating operators and Leaders to achieve maximum quality and productivity, safely.
    • Communicates and coordinates effectively with senior leadership partners to achieve goals and training results.
    • Evaluates progress of each operator during the training period, providing regular feedback on their progress.  Identifies gaps in operator skill level to determine the need for additional training and/or performance management, communicates the identified gaps to Leadership.
    • Conducts training audits to identify training gaps, conducts on-the-job training to correct deficiencies; observes to make necessary changes to documentation or processes as necessary.
    • Ensures regulatory compliance and adherence to the quality standards.
    • Collaborates with operators and Leadership to make recommendations on how to improve and solve issues while positively contributing to Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.
    • Plans and coordinates training schedules with staff and Operations Leaders.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 7 years of experience in Training/Education).
    • Minimum of 3 years of Training/Education experience.

    The base pay range for this position is $83,800.00 - $139,900.00 . The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on May 22, 2024.
