Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Transportation & Logistics Analyst, reporting to the India Operations Manager, working out of the Bangalore office. The Analyst will join the Global Supply Chain Transportation and Logistics (GSCTL) group.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provides support for the development of the statement of work to secure cost-effective transportation services.
- Analyzes carrier performance data for cycle time, costs and business process review.
- Participates on enterprise wide and cross-functional teams defining export control programs.
- Interfaces with internal/external compliance organizations and responds to Customs and Border Protection inquiries for export control issues to ensure compliance with export regulations, federal regulations, Foreign Trade Regulations and the Boeing Compliance Offices.
- Certifies the shipment of dangerous goods. Investigates loss and damage claims to carriers.
- Designs transportation plans and solutions. Provides program managers with the development of transportation plans.
- Identifies requirements and business rules for third party freight audit and payment provider to ensure compliance.

Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):
- Knowledge: Full command of job practices, techniques, standards, and concepts required for the role.
- Boeing Knowledge: Familiarity with Boeing organizations, processes, program plans, policies, procedures, and products relevant to the function.
- Logistics Support: Experience with logistic support systems and processes (supply databases, shipping/receiving, warranties, inventory regulations, ILS, export control).
- Operations Processes: Understanding of Operations disciplines (Fabrication, Assembly, Tooling, Quality, IE, ME) and how their outputs interact with other functions (Engineering, Business, Logistics).
- Compliance Regulations: Knowledge of applicable company, national, and international compliance rules (import/export, IP, ISO, FAA, JAA, ICAO, ITAR, etc.).

This requisition is for a, locally hired position in India. The employer is Boeing India. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in India. Benefits and pay are determined by India and are not on Boeing US-based payroll. This is not an expatriate assignment.
