Job Summary

The Parts and Warranty Administrator is responsible for proper inventory stock and warranty processing. These duties to include but not limited to ordering, sourcing, shipping, receiving, stocking, and inventory accountability for the Factory Service Center. Filing warranty claims and identifying, controlling, segregating and maintain all tools to a serviceable or unserviceable category as designated. They are also responsible for maintaining warranty records, communicating with other departments and vendors status of parts. This person is also responsible for shipping core parts back to vendors for credit and disposing of scrap parts. Schedule: Thurs - Monday 7am - 3:30pm (12 differential added)

Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions

Parts and Warranty Admin will:

  • Order parts from multiple vendors to include the best shipping method for the company and maintenance needs.
  • Communicate inventory levels, order status and tracking of parts to leads and supervisor
  • Inspect received parts condition and input into computer-based inventory system accurately with all necessary documentation and pricing
  • Maintain policy and procedures of Management and Control of Core and Warranty Procedures
  • Filling Warranty Claims with multiple vendors and returning Cores when requested
  • Ships parts to customers and warranty returns with all appropriate paperwork accurately
  • Scraps non-repairable parts based on a list of criteria
  • Sends parts out for repair to Cirrus and or third-party vendors based on need
  • Adds warranty credit to Work Orders
  • Keep training current to maintain certifications for handling parts and shipping.
  • Be required to perform Quarterly and Yearly Counts of parts to ensure accuracy.
  • Be responsible for following regulatory rules for receiving and handling parts to include sensitive electronics and ATF regulated items.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures as needed.

  • Interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a team of dynamic individuals, ability to remain professional through stressful situations.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Access).
  • Understanding of aircraft parts is preferred.
