The Web Publishing Specialist is detail-oriented, strategic, and technically skilled, helping to elevate the performance, quality, and impact of our corporate website and intranet. This role blends hands-on content publishing with leadership in ensuring our websites deliver modern, accessible, and engaging user experiences for both internal and external audiences.
The Specialist will manage and execute content publishing, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate across teams to support our corporate website, intranet and other digital platforms.Job Description

Key Accountabilities:
Web publishing operations
- Manage and execute content updates using CMS platforms
- Ensure content accuracy, SEO optimization, and accessibility compliance
- Conduct QA for published content
Workflow Leadership
- Prioritize and assign publishing tasks to ensure timely, accurate delivery
- Train and mentor publishing team members; maintain onboarding and documentation
- Act as first escalation point for publishing issues
- Monitor publishing queue and team capacity to balance workload efficiently
Performance Optimization & Strategy
- Monitor website analytics to drive continuous improvement
- Implement test-and-learn strategies, including A/B testing, to refine user experience and conversion
- Collaborate with internal teams to align digital publishing with strategic business goals
- Contribute to SEO/SEM strategies
- Support and enhance internal communication platforms hosted on SharePoint Online to improve employee experience
- Leverage AI-powered tools and technologies to optimize website performance, automate content workflows, personalize user experiences, and uncover data-driven insights that support strategic publishing decisions
Scope and Impact:
This role will influence how we present our brand and information online, supporting seamless, accessible, and up-to-date experiences. This role is critical to:
- Proactively managing and optimizing our web presence
- Ensuring accessibility and compliance standards are met
- Delivering consistent and engaging content
- Supporting internal communication and strategic initiatives
- Increasing user satisfaction, traffic, and engagement
Experience:
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Communications, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in digital publishing or website management
- Advanced experience with a variety of CMS platforms
- Experience leveraging AI-driven tools and platforms for content automation, personalization, and workflow optimization in web publishing
Knowledge:
- Understanding of HTML/CSS is an asset
- Expert in Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Yammer)
- Knowledge of SEO/SEM strategies, accessibility standards (WCAG), and QA best practices
- Strong command of web analytics tools including Google Analytics
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
- Well-developed understanding of UX/UI and digital engagement best practices
