Job Title: Traveling AH-64 Avionics/Electrician Mechanic- Immediate Hire

Location: Travel Required- Alabama, Fort Bragg, NC, and Fort Bliss, TX

Start Date: May 18, 2026 (Immediate Hire Required)

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced AH-64 Avionics/Electrician Mechanic to support maintenance operations on Apache helicopters across multiple military installations. This role is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing aircraft electrical and avionics systems and subsystems. Candidates must be open to travel and working in dynamic operational environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair malfunctions in AH-64 electrical and avionics systems
Maintain and repair flight control electronics, navigation systems, and instrumentation
Perform maintenance on wiring, harnesses, and electrical components
Assist with troubleshooting aircraft subsystems including hydraulics, landing gear, and engines as needed
Conduct preflight, thru-flight, and post-flight inspections
Perform preventive maintenance and full system operational checks
Read and interpret technical data, schematics, and aircraft instruments
Utilize test equipment and document all maintenance actions per QA and regulatory standards
Support removal and installation of electrical components and avionics systems
Maintain accurate maintenance records and comply with work order systems
Follow all safety procedures, FOD prevention, and tool control requirements
Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Job Requirements:

Required Experience & Qualifications:

5-8 years of recent and relevant aircraft Avionics/ Electrician experience in defense or aerospace
Minimum 3+ years of AH-64 avionics/electrical experience required
Strong troubleshooting experience on aircraft electrical and avionics systems
Experience with preventive maintenance and inspections
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
Must be willing and able to travel between job sites (Alabama, Fort Bragg, Fort Bliss)

Additional Requirements:

Must be a United States Citizen
Must be able to pass a background check
Must be able to pass a DOT drug screening
Must provide own tools; tools must be shadowed, etched, and inventoried in accordance with DoD guidelines
Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license
Must be available to start on May 18, 2026

Physical Requirements / Work Environment:

Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
Ability to work in confined spaces, elevated platforms, and varying positions
Must be comfortable working in hangars and outdoor environments
Ability to wear required personal protective equipment
