Job Description:

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled UH-60 Electrician with a 15F military occupational specialty background. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in heavy phase maintenance on UH-60 helicopters and must be proficient in modifications and avionics integration.

LOCATION & DETAILS

  • Guntersville, AL
  • Split per diem available for those who qualify
  • Monday – Thursday 1st Shift
    • 6:00am – 4:30pm
  • Simple personal tools + toolbox required (shadowed and engraved)
  • Relocation unavailable
  • Paid weekly after first week of work
  • Clean DD214 record required

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Integrate wire bundles and electrical harnesses into UH-60 aircraft systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical system issues to meet mission and customer requirements.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and modification work orders (MWOs).
  • Terminate electrical connectors, including coaxial cables.
  • Clamp, route, and secure harnesses according to specifications.
  • Conduct Maintenance Operational Checks (MOCs) and Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs).
  • Perform soldering, continuity checks, and power checks.
  • Assist general aircraft mechanics with scheduled maintenance and repairs.
  • Operate Ground Support Equipment (GSE), such as tugs, power carts, and
  • Maintain accurate logbook and workbook documentation in accordance with service guidance.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and clean-as-you-go
  • Participate in daily FOD walks to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Provide your own set of tools (excluding specialty tools provided by the company).

 

PAY & SCHEDULE

  • Paid hourly based off of experience
  • OT time and a half
  • SPLIT per diem available to those that qualify
  • Paid weekly after first week.
  • Monday – Thursday 1st Shift
    • 6:00am - 4:30pm
  • OT as needed
Job Requirements:

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4 years of experience working with UH-60 helicopters.
  • Military 15F background highly preferred.
  • Proven background in heavy and phase maintenance.
  • Demonstrated experience with aircraft modifications (MODs).
  • Ability to read schematics, troubleshoot systems, and follow technical data.
  • Ability to forgo a pre-employment standard DOT drug test, criminal background check, and basic health physical.
  • Reliable personal transportation/vehicle.
  • Proof of US citizenship required.
  • Valid US Driver’s License.
  • Clean DD214 record if acquired.
  • MUST have basic tools/box.
    • Shadowed + Engraved.
