Role Summary
* In this role, you will perform complex operational and functional tests, troubleshooting, and repairs on avionics systems; install and test electrical/avionics components on aircraft; interpret maintenance manuals, blueprints, and schematics; ensure compliance with FAA regulations and customer requirements; maintain accurate documentation; and support a safe, organized, and efficient maintenance environment. Education & Job Requirements
* High School Diploma or GED.
* FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification.
* Experience working with aircraft avionics and test equipment.
* Experience on Challenger, Global Express, Dassault Falcon Jet, or similar aircraft (preferred).
* Basic computer aptitude and ability to use maintenance tracking systems such as Corridor.
* Valid driver’s license and ability to meet airport authority requirements for badge access and ramp clearance. Professional Attributes

* Experience with Garmin G1000 and other integrated avionics suites.
* Experience with test equipment such as Pitot/static testers, Nav 401L, AT 600, and oscilloscopes.
* Previous FBO or general aviation experience. Job Duties & Functions
* Communicate to receive and understand work assignments and complete tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
* Install and functionally test avionics and electrical components per engineering specifications and drawings.
* Analyze and repair aircraft avionics systems, including Nav/Com, Transponder, DME, and Autopilot to the sub-assembly level.
* Repair or replace defective components and wiring, perform splicing, soldering, and wire termination as required.
* Set up and operate test equipment and conduct functional and operational tests to evaluate system performance and reliability.
* Perform minor maintenance, cleaning, and adjustments of electronic/electrical components on the bench.
* Assist other Line and Install Technicians as needed.
* Enter daily labor against the correct Work Orders and item numbers using the Corridor system.
* Review work to ensure compliance with Inspection Procedures Manual, Operating Procedures, and FAA regulations.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of hangars, break areas, offices, and work areas.
* Follow company policies, procedures, and safety rules, and perform other duties as required. Physical Requirements & Environment
* Frequent exposure to general shop conditions and engine noise.
* Frequent exposure to aircraft exhaust, moving mechanical parts, lubricants, metals, and solvents.
* Frequent exposure to seasonal weather.
* Ability to stand, bend, kneel, crouch, reach overhead, and perform fine motor tasks.
* Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds and frequent lifting up to 10 pounds.
