Aircraft Maintenance Technician

Job Description:

Will be responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled line maintenance on large cabin aircraft based at SFB.
Will be required to meet the aircraft prior to departures and ensure the aircraft are prepped for departure.
Will be responsible for tracking scheduled maintenance and coordinating with base of operation for scheduling.
Will be responsible for documenting all maintenance performed in accordance with FAR Part 135 company manuals.

Job Requirements:

Airframe & Powerplant License
Five or more years' experience in aircraft maintenance on turbine powered aircraft.
Model aircraft experience preferred, but not required, such as: Gulfstream 500, Legacy 600 Series executive aircraft.
Experience in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems preferred.
Physical Requirements and Working Environment: Required to climb, stand, stoop, bend, and occasionally work in confined spaces
Occasional work is performed on ladders and scissor lifts.
May work in aircraft maintenance hangar, or outside ramp in all weather conditions.
High School Graduate or Equivalent required.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Must hold a valid Airframe and Powerplant Certificate.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
Must have computer experience to access web-based aircraft maintenance manuals.
Must be flexible to scheduling for on-demand flight schedules per CFR Part 135 operations.
Occasional overtime and weekend shift work may be required.
