You’re an experienced helicopter maintenance professional who enjoys getting hands-on with inspections and heavy maintenance in a structured, high-standard environment. In this permanent role based in Latrobe, PA, you’ll support an FAA Part 145 MRO, working collaboratively with a multi-skilled shop team to keep helicopters safe, compliant, and mission-ready.
An FAA A&P license is preferred but not required. Experience on Leonardo, Airbus, and/or Bell platforms is highly advantageous.
What you’ll do
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on helicopters
- Conduct heavy maintenance tasks as required (Part 145 environment)
- Inspect and repair aircraft and components in accordance with:
- maintenance procedures
- airworthiness directives (ADs)
- service bulletins (SBs) / service letters
- applicable Federal Aviation Regulations
- Work closely with A&P mechanics, avionics techs, sheetmetal mechanics, and composites techs in a repair station environment
- Perform flight line / ground runs, leak checks, and operational checks
- Support pre- and post-maintenance check flights
- Carry out track & balance activities
- Occasionally perform off-site work as needed
What you bring
- Proven helicopter maintenance experience
- Demonstrated experience performing inspections and heavy maintenance
- Strong working knowledge of FAA repair station standards and documentation discipline
- Ability to work safely, follow procedures, and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Team mindset—comfortable collaborating across multiple disciplines in the shop
Nice to have
- FAA A&P license
- Experience on Leonardo / Airbus / Bell helicopters
- Strong track & balance experience in an MRO setting
Employment Conditions
- Salary: $58,240 – $104,000 gross/year depending on profile
- Contract: Full Time
- On-site: based on business needs
