Turboprop East, Inc, a highly rated maintenance and avionics Repair Station for turboprop and light jet aircraft, is looking for a skilled Assistant Avionics Manager. The position will prepare and lead installation and repair projects, and coordinate aircraft support with maintenance management.

• Reports to the Avionics Manager.
• Ensures compliance with FAA regulations.

• Possess background and strong understanding of the avionics systems in Cessna Citation, Beech King Air, and Piaggio Turboprop Aircraft, with demonstrated expertise in Rockwell Collins Pro Line 4, 21, and Fusion, Honeywell Primus, and Garmin G500/600, G1000, and G3000 flight decks.
• Performs scheduled/unscheduled inspections, including but not limited to, RVSM certifications, 91.411/91.413, and ELT checks.
• Utilizes various avionics test equipment to perform operational and functional checks on aircraft systems.

• Fabricate and install new aircraft wiring harnesses and repairs existing aircraft wiring systems.
• Uses of label identification printing for wires identification.
• Adheres to established company policies and procedures set in RSM/QCM, as well as applicable FAA regulatory guidelines.

• Four years maintenance/avionics experience and/or training in the business aviation.
• Valid FAA A&P license.
• Ability to read, write and speak the English language.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated strong mechanical aptitude.
• Strong time-management skills.
• Successfully pass drug test.
• Must have appropriate set of basic tools.
• Demonstrate attention to detail.
• Must be able to work standing, kneeling, and have ability to work in confined spaces.
