Job Title: Avionics Installer III
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Avionics Installer III to lead, support, and assist technicians in performing avionics installations. This role involves fabricating wire harnesses, installing, terminating, ring-out, and assisting in the functional testing of avionics/electrical systems. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with three years of experience in avionics/electronics in aviation. The ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams is essential.
Responsibilities
- Provide work direction to technicians and ensure task completion within allotted time frames.
- Coordinate with and assist other departments to ensure on-time delivery of aircraft.
- Install, modify, and fabricate wiring and electrical components, fixtures, and associated equipment in accordance with blueprints, worksheets, and engineering drawings.
- Train other team members and contribute to the development of employees and techniques.
- Assist Engineering in resolving problems and make repairs according to engineering direction.
- Maintain required logs and records.
- Ensure that work accomplished meets applicable regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
- Enforce the company FOD program, tool control program, 5-S program, and all safety regulations.
- Check all work, including that of other team members, to ensure a defect-free assembly prior to final inspection.
- Properly care for and maintain shop equipment and tools.
- Coordinate shift changes in the absence of team leaders.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Assist and fill in for the team coordinator as required.
Essential Skills- High school diploma or GED.
- Three years of experience in avionics/electronics in aviation.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer keyboard skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Working knowledge of the Gulfstream Policies and Procedures manual, Inspection Procedures manual, and pertinent Process Specifications.
- Proven ability to adapt to new tasks with minimal impact on established goal hours and schedules.
- Military experience is highly preferred.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.40 - $30.40/hr.
