Job Title: Avionics InstallerJob DescriptionAs an Avionics Installer, you will be responsible for the functional testing, repair, maintenance, and inspection of aircraft electrical and avionics systems, including radar, lighting, radio, entertainment, and navigational systems. Your role will require you to adjust, repair, or replace malfunctioning components, assemble components, connect systems, and install electrical and electronic components in aircraft.
Responsibilities- Adjust, repair, or replace malfunctioning components or assemblies using hand tools and/or soldering irons.
- Assemble components such as switches, electrical controls, and junction boxes.
- Connect components to assemblies such as radio systems, instruments, magnetos, inverters, and in-flight refueling systems.
- Install electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems in aircraft.
- Interpret flight test data to diagnose malfunctions and systemic performance issues.
- Lay out installation of aircraft assemblies and systems following documentation such as blueprints, manuals, and wiring diagrams.
- Test and troubleshoot instruments, components, and assemblies using circuit testers, oscilloscopes, and voltmeters to determine performance.
- Maintain timely and accurate records of regular maintenance and repairs.
- Comply with company policy and procedures as contained in company manual.
- Coordinate work with engineers, technicians, and other aircraft maintenance personnel to ensure the delivery of the aircraft on time to the customer.
Essential Skills- 2 plus years of experience with avionics installation.
- Experience with corporate aircraft preferred.
- Proficiency with Garmin 1000 and/or 5000.
- Knowledge of Pro Line 21 (Rockwell Collins) and Honeywell equipment preferred.
- Must own tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience with avionics systems and aviation electronics.
- Troubleshooting and installation capabilities.
- Experience with wire harnesses.
- FCC and NCATT certifications are advantageous.

Work EnvironmentWork in a climate-controlled hangar with options for a 7 AM to 3:30 PM Monday-Friday schedule or a second shift 4/10 schedule from 2:30 PM to 12:30 AM.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
