Job Title: Avionics Installer
Job Description
The Avionics Installer will install and troubleshoot avionics systems on corporate and general aviation aircraft, ensuring that all work meets high standards of safety, quality, and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Install avionics systems and components on corporate and general aviation aircraft in accordance with technical specifications and regulatory standards.
- Troubleshoot avionics systems to identify, diagnose, and resolve issues efficiently and accurately.
- Perform wiring, mounting, and integration of avionics equipment, ensuring clean, organized, and reliable installations.
- Work with systems such as ADS-B and other modern avionics technologies to support safe and compliant aircraft operations.
- Collaborate with technicians and other team members in the hangar to coordinate installation and troubleshooting activities.
- Document work performed in accordance with internal procedures and aviation maintenance standards.
- Follow all safety protocols and best practices while working on and around aircraft in an active hangar environment.
Essential Skills
- Hands-on experience with avionics installation on aircraft.
- Ability to troubleshoot avionics systems and resolve technical issues.
- Familiarity with ADS-B systems and related avionics technologies.
- Experience working on corporate jets or general aviation aircraft.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and installation manuals.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team in a hangar environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Garmin avionics installation experience is preferred but not required.
- Corporate aviation experience is a plus.
- Possession of an A&P license is a bonus.
- Previous experience working in a business aviation or MRO environment is beneficial.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Nashville, TN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
