Education & Certifications
Preferred / Plus:
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License
- FCC 2nd Class License
- Experience with turboprop aircraft
? Qualifications & Experience
- 3–5 years of proven avionics and aircraft electrical/electronics experience
- Prior experience in aircraft maintenance (required)
- Strong proficiency in:
- Avionic/electrical wiring diagrams
- Wire identification and harness fabrication
- Cables, connectors, fittings, circuits, and digital avionics installations
- Thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic components and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to inspect and install digital avionics systems
- High degree of precision and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality and compliance
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Must be safety-conscious at all times
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong communication skills in English (Spanish bilingual a plus)
?? Physical & Work Environment Requirements
- Ability to stand regularly and use hands and fingers for precision tasks
- Frequently required to sit, climb, balance, and work in confined spaces
- Must be able to lift or assist lifting up to 50 lbs
- Exposure to elevated noise levels at times
- Use of hearing, eye, fall, and chemical safety protection required
