Avionics Technician - Great Pay Tallahassee FL

Flightline Group is looking to add an Avionics Technician to our team of dedicated aviation enthusiasts. We are an Authorized Service Center for Garmin, Avidyne, FreeFlight Systems and Stratus, as well as, Piper, Daher-Kodiak, and Cirrus.  Come join us and experience the satisfaction of working on general aviation aircraft with an amazing team. This is a full-time on-site role in Tallahassee, FL. The Avionics Technician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and repairing avionic systems in various aircraft. 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assembling and disassembling avionic systems, 
• Ensuring that systems are in compliance with FAA regulations and standards,
• Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, blueprints and schematics to complete installations and system repairs, and 
• Keeping accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed. 

• Proficiency in interpreting wiring diagrams, blueprints, and schematics to complete installations and system repairs
• Ability to use specialized tools and test equipment safely and effectively
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
• Experience with FAA regulations and standards is preferred
• Experience with avionic systems in multiple aircraft models is a plus
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification
• At least 2 years of experience in the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of avionic systems and components
