AVIONICS TECHNICIAN
Duties and
Responsibilities:
• Assist in managing flight activities as
related to electro/avionic system troubleshooting and data collection, including
flight crew briefings
• Collect, evaluate and interpret flight
data/readings/recordings
• Assist Completion Engineering with data to
develop test plans, procedures and with feedback on new system design and
associated drawings
• Develop a system to collect and store aircraft
electronic files on the AWPC server
• Assist with OJT requirements
• Work overtime and travel as needed to support
customer deliveries (new & in service)
• Support deliveries for all new and in-service
aircraft
• Perform other duties and fulfill other
responsibilities as assigned.
Education
• High school degree required, Associates degree
desired, BS degree a plus
Experience
• Seven years of aircraft electro/avionics
system installation, helicopter experience is desired.
• Five years of aircraft electro/avionics
systems troubleshooting and evaluation
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical
principals as applied to aviation and must be able to use / interpret diagrams,
blue prints and technical publications.
