Role Summary
* In this role, you will troubleshoot, repair, and install avionics systems on large commercial aircraft while following the client’s technical data, safety standards, and procedures. In this role, you will perform both routine and non-routine electrical and avionics maintenance, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory and company requirements. In this role, you will collaborate with maintenance teams to support aircraft returning to service safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Education & Job Requirements
* Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
* Must have a minimum of 2 years of recent heavy commercial aircraft avionics-related maintenance experience.
* Must have your own tools.
* Must be able to work from written and verbal instructions, technical manuals, job cards, and schematics.
* Must be able to read and interpret ATA codes, wiring schematics, analysis charts, and maintenance procedures.
* Must be able to follow proper bonding, grounding, wiring practices, and component identification procedures.
* Must be able to properly use multi-meters, crimp tools, extraction tools, insertion tools, and related equipment.
* Must be able to maintain records of work performed and complete required training documentation.
* Must be able to read, understand, and adhere to all applicable FARs and client policies.
* Must have experience with commercial aircraft such as B777, B787, B737NG, A320, MD-11, and E-190 Preferred Skills
* You will have an A&P License (preferred, not required).
* You will have experience training or mentoring lower-level mechanics.
* You will have familiarity with the client’s inspection procedures and documentation processes. Job Duties / Functions
* You will remove, clean, service, and replace aircraft components using specialized tooling and ground support equipment.
* You will troubleshoot, remove, and replace various aircraft electrical and avionics systems.
* You will follow oral and written instructions, including supervisor directives and technical manuals, to complete routine and non-routine maintenance tasks efficiently.
* You will provide guidance and training to lower-level technicians as required.
* You will properly maintain, organize, and store all tools and equipment in serviceable condition.
* You will adhere to safe maintenance practices and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
* You will record all maintenance actions and personal work history on OJT forms for the Training Department.
* You will successfully complete company-required training courses.
* You will perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
