Job Title: Avionics Technician Level II & III
Job Description
We are seeking skilled Avionics Technicians for a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity, with potential for direct hire and relocation bonus for the right candidate. Your primary responsibilities will include troubleshooting, installing, and repairing corporate aircraft COMMS/NAV systems, including Honeywell, Collins, and Garmin systems. You will work with a fleet that includes Citation, Hawker, Gulfstream, and King Air aircraft.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance actions and inspections according to technical data and aircraft manufacturer’s maintenance programs.
- Coordinate with management to ensure compliance with internal and FAA paperwork, signoffs, and quality specifications using the Corridor maintenance program.
- Conduct inspections and execute proper inspection records, reports, and forms before releasing products to service.
- Follow standard operating procedures using maintenance tools and equipment such as electrical, hydraulic power, and aircraft pressurization carts.
- Maintain and care for all required maintenance and facility equipment and tools.
- Stay current with the latest technical data revisions on articles repaired by the repair station.
- Handle and preserve all units/parts properly during work processes, installation, and storage.
- Ensure proper tagging and identification of all parts and components.
- Prevent the installation of defective or unserviceable parts in aircraft or components.
- Document and review on-the-job training as required and provide documentation to the quality assurance department.
- Maintain currency requirements for special authorizations as required by repair station duties.

Work Environment
Work in a clean aircraft hangar environment, Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with approximately 10 overtime. The position involves working in a sensitive environment with a focus on corporate aviation services, including charter, maintenance, repair, and overhaul operations.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dayton, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.50 - $45.50/hr.
