Job Title: Avionics Technician
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Avionics Technician to join our team. This permanent position involves the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics systems in general aviation aircraft. You will play a crucial role in upgrading and maintaining aircraft avionics systems to ensure safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Install full system avionics, primarily focusing on Garmin, as well as King, S-TEC autopilot systems, and PSI Engineering intercom systems.
- Construct harnesses for all avionics systems from Garmin, King, S-TEC autopilot, Dynon, and intercom systems.
- Remove outdated avionics systems and integrate new systems into the aircraft.
- Perform VFR and IFR tests to ensure functionality and compliance.
Essential Skills- Proficient in avionics installation and troubleshooting.
- Experience with wiring, layouts, and bench repair.
- Understanding of airframe and electrical systems.
- Ability to build harnesses and perform aircraft repairs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Minimum of 2 years of experience in system installation and basic harness build.
- Eligibility for FAA DOT safety-sensitive hire.
- Experience with Garmin systems is highly preferred.

Work Environment
Work a day shift from Monday to Friday in aircraft hangar and shop areas. The role offers a structured environment conducive to precision and collaboration.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
