Job Title: Avionics TechnicianJob Description
We are seeking an experienced Avionics Technician to support and assist technicians in performing avionics installations. This role involves fabricating wire harnesses, installing, terminating, ringing out, and assisting in the functional testing of avionics/electrical systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide work direction to technicians and ensure tasks are completed within the allotted time frame.
- Coordinate with and assist other departments to ensure on-time delivery of aircraft.
- Install, modify, and fabricate wiring and electrical components, fixtures, and associated equipment in accordance with blueprints, worksheets, and engineering drawings.
- Train other team members in associated work assignments and contribute to the development of employees and techniques.
- Assist Engineering in resolving problems and make repairs per engineering direction.
- Maintain required logs and records.
- Ensure that work accomplished meets applicable regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
- Enforce the company FOD program, tool control program, 5-S program, and all safety regulations.
- Check all work, including that of other team members, to ensure a defect-free assembly prior to final inspection.
Essential Skills- Experience in avionics installation and avionics electrical systems.
- Ability to install and work with avionics wire installations.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- FCC certification preferred.
- NCATT certification preferred.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- For Avionics Installer Sr: 2+ years of experience in an avionics/electrical career field OR two years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics plus two years of related experience.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $33.81 - $33.81/hr.
