Job Title: Avionics Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Avionics Technician to install avionics systems on general aviation small aircraft such as King Air and Cessna 170. The ideal candidate will have experience with Garmin, Avidyne, and STec systems.
Responsibilities
- Install and troubleshoot avionics systems on general aviation aircraft.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on aircraft avionics systems.
- Ensure all installations and modifications comply with aviation regulations.
- Work with electrical systems and harnesses to ensure proper installation.
- Use schematics to guide installation and troubleshooting processes.
Essential Skills
- Experience in Avionics installation and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with aviation electronics and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with Garmin, Avidyne, and STec systems.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for avionics repair and installation.
- General aviation (GA) aircraft experience, including Cessna 170 and King Air.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with aircraft maintenance and modification.
- Familiarity with aircraft such as Jets and other general aviation models.
- Preference for candidates with specific experience in Garmin systems.

Work Environment
Work in a hangar located in Denton, TX, with shifts running from 8 AM to 5 PM. The role provides an engaging environment for technicians passionate about aviation technology and aircraft maintenance.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denton, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $42.00/hr.
