Location: Fallon AFB, NV.
Description: Avionics Technicians will performs organizational, intermediate, and limited depot level maintenance to include inspection, operational test, repair, modification and troubleshooting on all assigned aircraft, components, and equipment. Applies advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems and to provide technical assistance, guidance and instruction to other employees as needed.
- Performs testing and troubleshooting of weapons systems, complex avionics/electrical systems and subsystems, communication/navigations, electronic flight control, fuel, power generators, power distribution systems, lighting systems, flight instrument and fuel systems, temperature and pressure indicating, engine and control indications, ATFLIR, Electronic Counter Measure, and RADAR systems.
- Reads and interprets blueprints, technical directives, planning documents, test specifications, technical publications and procedures, and applicable safety manuals.
Qualifications:
- Minimum three years’ aircraft avionics maintenance experience.
- Recent experience with F-18A-F, EA-18G, E-2C, or MH-60S F-16 aircraft (Must have one of the following aircrafts).
