Responsibilities
Perform maintenance in accordance with the Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) and General Maintenance Manual (GMM).
Troubleshoot, repair, test, remove, and replace avionics and instrument wiring using hand tools and test equipment.
Document completed work and ensure proper installation of aircraft parts using approved data.
Troubleshoot and repair avionics and instrument components.
Provide technical guidance to less experienced technicians.
Collaborate with flight crews for in-flight troubleshooting and preflight evaluations of avionics systems.
Maintain avionics test equipment.
Ensure work areas remain clean and organized.
Participate in technical training and on-the-job training to improve skills and proficiency.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of avionics experience in a Part 145 environment.
Strong background in business aviation; Part 135 experience preferred.
Familiarity with Manufacturer Maintenance Manuals and Illustrated Parts Catalogs (IPC).
Must own required tools.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Experience with Gulfstream, Cessna, Embraer, or Bombardier aircraft preferred.
Ability to work effectively in high-stress environments.
Experience using CMP and CAMP maintenance tracking systems.
Valid Driver’s License with no major infractions.
Ability to obtain an FAA Repairman Certificate; A&P License preferred.
Must pass employment drug screening, FBI fingerprinting, and a 10-year background check.
Physically able to lift weight, work in confined spaces, and at heights above four feet.
