On Behalf of its client Aerotek is seeking qualified Avionics Technicians for installs of Garmin suites and traffic systems on General Aviation and Rotary-wing aircraft. Pay range $28-45/hour DOE. Basic technician tools required. Garmin experience preferred.
- Garmin 650 and 750 systems, traffic systems, integrating with existing avionics suites.
- Review job task
- Review drawings for installation
- Select tooling and materials
- Assemble kits and systems, test connectivity, troubleshoot and test connections
- Install systems - equipment and wiring, routing, terminating
- Test system integration, troubleshoot
Skills:
- Repair, Install, avionics, Installation, Troubleshooting, Electrical, Aviation, Wire harness, helicopters, Garmin, AutoCAD, blueprints
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- 2+ years Avionics experience
- Must be able to read drawings
- Basic technician tools required (wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers)
Preferred:
- Garmin systems experience
- AutoCAD experience
