Job Title: Avionics Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Avionics Technician to perform essential duties in maintaining and repairing aircraft electronic systems. You will ensure that all tasks are completed in line with technical data, customer requirements, and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform work assignments as determined by shop management.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with approved technical data, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize appropriate inspection techniques and calibrated equipment for the unit/part being accomplished.
- Use proper test equipment or suitable alternatives and perform preventative maintenance as needed.
- Record information and complete work assignments in compliance with Inspection Procedures Manual and Quality Policies and Procedures.
- Assist Department Manager and Engineers with new capability development of repairs received.
- Maintain open two-way communication with Manager and teammates, sharing both good and bad news.
- Provide timely quotes for units, maintaining gate 1 and gate 3 within three days.
- Maintain personal and shop-calibrated tools in satisfactory operational condition.
- Comply with all safety directives and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Work in a shop environment with the ability to lift 100 lbs.
- Read and interpret schematics and drawings.
Essential Skills
- A&P License
- Aircraft maintenance experience
- 3 years of aviation avionics experience
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with aircraft systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and drawings

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $74880.00/yr.
