Job Title: Avionics Technician
Job Overview: Aerotek Aviaiton is currently hiring an Avionics Technician to work on a contract to hire basis for one of our customers Part 145 repair stations located in Mount Olive, NC. This is a first shift position for individuals looking to work on Corporate Jet and General Aviation aircraft in consistent and family friendly environment that allows flexibility.
Job Description
The Avionics Technician will operate within a Part 145 repair station, primarily working in hangars to support client and corporate aircraft. The role involves performing troubleshooting, upgrades, installations, and maintenance of avionics equipment and systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform troubleshooting of avionics equipment and systems.
- Conduct upgrades and installations of avionics systems.
- Support maintenance efforts on various aircraft, including General Aviation and Corporate Aircraft.
- Work with Garmin systems and the person harness.
- Interpret and work with schematics for avionics repair.
Essential Skills
- 1-3 years of experience in Avionics Troubleshooting, Maintenance and Installations
- Proficiency in avionic troubleshooting and installations.
- Experience with Garmin systems is highly preferred, expereince with General Aviation or Corporate Aircraft highly preferred.

Work Environment
The position is based in Mt. Olive, NC and Rocky Mount, NC, operating across two hangars with a current headcount of about 20. The work schedule is primarily first shift, Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with occasional weekend work and light travel as needed.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
