Aerotek is seeking an Avionics Technician/Electrician for a long-term, full-time position focused on modifying, repairing, and maintaining military aircraft. Must have F/A-18 or EA-18G aircraft experience. Day shift M-F. Expect to start Mid-Late June 2025.Responsibilities
- Modify, repair, and maintain military aircraft with a focus on electronic warfare systems.
- Build, install, and remove wire harnesses, and perform testing and termination.
- Troubleshoot and document according to blueprints and schematics.
- Collaborate with general mechanics, structures mechanics, and inspectors.
- Assist with Powerplant, Airframe, Environmental Control Systems (ECS), and other mechanical duties.
Essential Skills- 4+ years of experience on the F/A-18 or EA-18G aircraft in RADAR, ECM, AEA, or COMMNAV systems.
- Experience with avionics software on F18/EA18G.
- Experience with weapons systems including ALQ-99 pods.
- Eligibility for SECRET clearance.
- Eligibility for Boeing badge.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- A strong understanding of electrical theory and aircraft wiring.
- Proficiency in using testing equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Work Environment
Work takes place on the base at Whidbey Naval Air Station, primarily indoors in hangars with some work on the flightline. The schedule is Monday-Friday day shifts with occasional Saturdays, consisting of 8-hour shifts. Tools are supplied, and the role involves reporting to a client lead and possibly to prime contractor customer leads.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $37.00/hr.
